A progressive 6-Year Digital Literacy Journey
Our school is committed to preparing Lasallians for the future by transforming teaching and learning through the integration of technology and personalized learning experiences. Guided by the nation's Transforming Education through Technology (EdTech Masterplan 2030) directive and the framework (Image 1) it provides, we ensure that all initiatives align with the vision of “Technology-transformed learning, to prepare students for a technology-transformed world".

Embedded within the school's comprehensive curriculum so that Lasallians can apply the skills meaningfully, the Digital Literacies Programme in the school (Table 1) is designed to equip Lasallians with essential digital competencies defined as a set of knowledge, skills and dispositions that enable learners to use digital technologies (Image 2). These initiatives empower learners to navigate the digital world confidently and responsibly, ensuring they are well-prepared to thrive in an ever-evolving technological landscape.
Through these learning experiences, Lasallians develop enhanced 21st Century Competencies such as critical and inventive thinking and communication, collaboration and information skills.

AI Literacy
As part of the school’s effort in preparing Lasallians for the future, the school places huge emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy.
Students are progressively guided to:
· Understand what AI is and how it works (at age-appropriate levels)
· Identify and explain the benefits, limitations and risks of AI
· Use AI tools responsibly and purposefully to support learning and daily life
AI is thoughtfully integrated into teaching and learning to enhance thinking, creativity and engagement, while maintaining a strong emphasis on originality, reasoning and ethical use.

Parents' Guide to using Generative AI for learning
While we continue to leverage technology to enhance learning experiences, the school also emphasizes cyber-wellness to ensure Lasallians maintain healthy and ethical relationships with technology. Parents are encouraged to play a role by setting clear routines, monitoring device usage, and reinforcing safe and responsible technology habits. Parents/guardians may also refer to the guidelines on screen use from Ministry of Health, as seen below.
